We hope that the information here will give you a good insight into our school. We would welcome the opportunity to answer any questions you might have, visits to school can be arranged through the school office.

Through our website we aim to give parents, carers and families a good understanding of the learning opportunities and wider curricular activities that take place here at Golden Flatts Primary School. You may also wish to follow us on Facebook, where you will find a very active page that is well supported by parents and carers. We work with and support the whole family to ensure that we are an important part of the local community.

In our school we hold high expectations and aim for every child to ‘let their light shine’. We aim to develop the whole child; ensuring pupils have a wide range of opportunities to succeed in academic work as well as music, sport and the Arts. We also firmly believe in respect and kindness towards others, which helps make sure our school is a vibrant, caring learning environment that ensures that pupil’s individual needs are very well catered for. At Golden Flatts Primary School we work together as a team to ensure that all children make excellent progress and attain high standards, whilst being cared for and nurtured.

We personalise our curriculum to make sure that pupils are able to move onto the next stage of their learning with confidence. At the heart of our curriculum are our four curriculum drivers: creativity, basic skills, personal and social education and learning in the outdoor environment. At Golden Flatts we motivate, inspire and challenge pupils to become creative, independent learners with high self-esteem.

If you would like to visit our school please don’t hesitate in contacting the school office, Mrs McClelland our School Clerk will be able to arrange an appointment for you.
